But that doesn't go far enough in really describing Graphics West. Aside from maintaining the area's best quality since its founding in 1977, Graphics West has acquired the well-deserved reputation of being the "can do" company. Graphics West management has always striven to handle the complete job for the customer. This philosophy has given Graphics West an unusual, and important, array of experience and equipment. In the production of "the whole job" Graphics West hasn't hesitated to undertake new and unusual projects even when it meant procuring exotic materials and a great deal of special hand finishing.
A recent example of Graphics West's positive "can do" attitude is captured in their fulfillment of a number of large projects that accompanied the recent grand opening of The Borgata – the luxury hotel and casino that began operation this past summer in Atlantic City, New Jersey. We were chosen as the printer for almost 100 high-end collateral projects that required a low-cost, high quality organization who could make it happen. Not only did we turnkey the products at our Las Vegas location, we enlisted the help of our Phoenix division, Woods Litho, to successfully meet a cycle demand as well as the hotel's needs and expectations on an order of more than 300,000, 24 page, saddle-stitched brochures, each with a double gate fold. This project was produced and delivered in less than a week with the additional challenge of overcoming a holiday weekend.
The Graphics West story is filled with examples of going the extra mile to satisfy a customer and the early acquisition of special equipment to lead rather than follow market demand.
